Aerlis Ambrosius • 2 years ago

天照大御神 • 2 years ago

Nikola Nikolov • 2 years ago

yea when theres 2 of them and one can block my sword and even kind of make it uncontrollable i would have been out of there to the nearest very lighted area of the festival where those people wont further persue its not like hes isolated in a maintain or something just fly out of there or run to wheres people :)

OfficialDrixMalone • 2 years ago

Right, dude was getting beat, but I don't think they would've let him get away that easy, so his only option was to fight smh.

douluo • 2 years ago

I swear...every week I'm reminded how much this donghua is in its own league. It's almost depressing--knowing that we'll have to wait a long time for something this good to come along again. This is primarily an action anime for CS, yet its dramatic immersion tops nearly everything I've seen in the medium: @8:50--11:00 with the fully orchestrated score and choir in the BG 😲. Just wow.

Dase • 2 years ago

Have you watched Yong Sheng? Although the graphics isnt on par with Fanren, it is pretty close and the novel is a bit more... erotic than Soul Land :P

douluo • 2 years ago

I just saw it recently but haven't had a chance to check it out. I will though, thnx.

AgileGazelle • 1 year ago

I am a huge LN fan that has recently found chinese donghuas. The best shows have almost all come from the best books so far that I've seen. RMJI is this one, A will eternal has a great show out, Yi nian yong heng, swallowed star is Tunshi Xingkong. BTTH is
Doupo Cangqiong, and Soul Land is Douluo Dalu. There is probably 1- 2 I'm missing, but I can't wait for the donghua for martial world, probably the best LN I've ever read out of all of them.

ArchAngel • 1 year ago

The PV for Renegade Immoral just recently drop. I am looking forward to the donghua. I love the novel. Wang Lin's story!

imtheboss • 1 year ago

If they animate the authors other novel Demon's Diary. It would be just as good as this if not better in some ways. Since this story was his first novel.

notarobot • 2 years ago

It is not that Han Li doesn't have feelings for his martial sister Chen. It is just that at his current cultivation he is simply too weak and too poor to even protect himself, let alone others. This is why he suppresses all of his feelings and focus wholeheartedly on surviving and getting stronger.

He also doesn't play with the women's hearts and make them think he likes them when he can't so that they can forget him in due time and live their best lives. At the same time he is letting them down gently.

Aerlis Ambrosius • 2 years ago

Well yes, sort of. But the more Han Li doesn't show any love and attention to those girls, the more they pursue him. Its human nature. Of course it helps that he saved their lives a few times, so there is that.
But the key thing is that Han Li is secretly pining for Nangong Wan, they both fell victim to the aphrodisiac of the little dragon and at that time Han Li promised to be worthy of her...so he is cultivating like made to catch up to her, but she is WAY ahead of him.

Dase • 2 years ago

With Miss Mo, he pretty much explained it in previous chapters, he will get to live a long time while she will age and die, the lives or a mortal and an immortal is far, he rather that she live out her life with someone else and rather than he see her die while he still lives, as he is cultivating, strong emotional attachment can be detrimental to their cultivation, especially death of a love one
With Nangong Wan what you said is true even when they were together, it was rare to see them both in each others presence and intimate moments were even rare as they knew it will be bad for their cultivation, in the novel she lost 5 years of cultivation when they were under the effect of the aphrodisiac
With Chen Qiaoqian, the donghua made Han Li has more feelings towards her than in the novel, it was more of an awkward encounter (he felt bad cause of the encounter and having to pretend that he didnt know anything) every time he sees her since that night when he had an intimate encounter with her when she was drugged, his initial opinion of her wasnt great due to her association with that senior brother who tried to rape her
He did have feelings for Wang Ning though, and had multiple inimate encounters but she wasnt willing to be a concubine, so they parted ways

Aerlis Ambrosius • 2 years ago

Damn, why is your memory so good? I read the novel but don't really remember Wang Ning at all. I have no concept of the two being very close to the point where Han Li would even consider that, let alone her rejecting that level of status. Or maybe just watching the video I am not properly associating the characters that I see with the right character in the novel. Anyways, I am impressed with your mnemonic powers.

Dase • 2 years ago

Umm every novel I read I would read them 3 to 4 times then read parts of the novel, like when Luo Feng goes out on a date with Xu Xin and making their relationship official, when Xiao Yan meets Xiao Xiao the first time and she calls him father lol I might not remember everything but that is why

Aerlis Ambrosius • 2 years ago

Wow! Impressive. You are even more of a freak for reading this stuff than I am. I read tons of cultivation novels but I only read them once. Ever read Eternal Reverance? The cultivation system in that one is really intricate and almost mathematical. I found that interesting. That was the first and only time I did a Patrion for the translator. I was paying for the premium so I could read it but he gave up. That was a few years ago. I saw it again recently and I think there are a few hundred more chapters probably translated by another person or group, but I haven't got motivated to start reading it again.

‘Strong emotional attachment can be detrimental to their cultivation’ - Much like the Jedi 😉

On a separate note are cultivators still able to have kids etc.

Dase • 2 years ago

It really depends on the donghua/novel, most would show that cultivators are able to have children, yet their cultivation levels are low in comparison to the main character, although there are exceptions, which sort of goes back to emotional attachment does kind of hinder cultivation.
I dont usually see a lot of donghua/novels where the main character would have children at the early part of the donghua/novel, it is pretty rare, only ones I can think of is Tunshi Xingkong Luo Feng has a twin when he was very young Xiao Yan from Doupo Cangqiong who has a daughter when he was young

Han Li has one but it is in the sequel novel, and right at the end
Tan Yun from Against the Sky Supreme has one but she is from one of his previous lives
Tang San from Soul Land doesnt have one until after the first novel/donghua ends
Shi Hao of Wanmei Shijie has one but towards the end of the novel

So mainly because story wise it is a distraction to have intimate moments to hinder cultivation, also the authors would sometime explicitly write that it will be a distraction and heavy responsibility for the main character to have children (even though the main character is horny as hell, like Mu Chen in Wu Shang Shen Di) but I believe it is also because the author cant fit children into the story. Because other non main characters are able to have children regardless of their age lol

TumorsAreGood • 1 year ago

However Xiao Yan had a daughter under very specific unforeseen circumstances.

yourmom420 • 2 years ago

check out this donghua just as good as soul land this and wanmei shije. Xingchen Bian great story character development and action with a little romance. Also the cgi is amazing!

zanetano • 2 years ago

covers his face so that he's not recognised when he's doing mischief. makes sence.
taking the cloth off his face right after jumping the fence and while trespassing... ?!? why bother with it in the first place then?
i mean i get it.. sort of.. you want US to know who that is, but we are not that dense to not be able to recognise him with a covered face... :P

Who is the fool now. When he didn't want to join them he should have just left. Now he's a burden to everyone.

imtheboss • 1 year ago

I really wish they didn't add this pointless scene. I really don't remember this in the novel.

ArchAngel • 1 year ago

The show is definitely emphasizing or adding some resemblance to romance.

This Is like my 3rd time watching series leading up the latest season and each time I have to say probably the best donghua i have watching the feels in this series hits differently, maybe it's because of tone and world building aspect that give that feel of realism.

17:03 This guy has a mask made out of the scrotums of his victims!!

AuroraMooon • 1 year ago

What a tragically beautiful love story, he is near but so far away from her reach. They in the same world but still worlds apart, I love how they depicted these differences. As for Miss Chen, I get why MC is hesitant when it comes to her… as the saying goes first impressions have a lasting effect especially for cautious individual like him.
